aptupgrade package added to testing section.
What is it and what does it do?
aptupgrade is a script ran from the Software Center menu entry that will
install updated packages for rpm, apt-get and Synaptic as well as updating the
rpm database to rpm 4.8.x format.
It will install the following packages.
librpm1-4.8.1-4pclos2011.i586.rpm
rpm-4.8.1-4pclos2011.i586.rpm
apt-0.5.15lorg3.95-3pclos2011.i586.rpm
apt-common-0.5.15lorg3.95-3pclos2011.i586.rpm
libapt-pkg0-0.5.15lorg3.95-3pclos2011.i586.rpm
rpm-pclinuxos-setup-1.134-2pclos2011.i586.rpm
synaptic-0.57.2-22pclos2011.i586.rpm
If you have a package building setup on your computer it will also install
perl-File-Slurp-9999.13-10pclos2009.i586.rpm
perl-List-MoreUtils-0.25-1pclos2010.i586.rpm
rpm-build-4.8.1-4pclos2011.i586.rpm
rpm-pclinuxos-setup-build-1.134-2pclos2011.i586.rpm
After running the script the system will automatically reboot.
Please note once you run this script and perform the installation, you cannot
revert back to old rpm 4.4.6 in the repos. The rpm database is upgrade to
4.4.8 format and no longer compatible with rpm 4.4.6.
