Very interesting, since I've been quite a while today trying to get a bluetooth connection between my phone and PC. Well, I have that but getting software to work with the connection hasn't happened yet. II may have to use XP for the Nokia software but all the while I've been wishing there was a Linux alternative. So far, nothing is working so I'll see how it turns out. I mainly just want to be able to back up my cell phone directory.

I had to get dependencies via Synaptic and then I got anyremote and ganyremote installed. Now I just need to read something to find out what they do! There is a list of music players shown so I'm guessing maybe I can use my phone for a remote. Not what I expected but I still don't know what to expect :) A bluetooth device scan isn't finding my phone so it might not work for me. In XP I did get the phone paired with the PC but still have a problem with software not recognizing what's going on.

If someone else gets anyremote working, I hope they'll post some helpful tips. The online documentation isn't helping me much.

Can't get it to work either, my bluetooth works just fine though.
