I'm been playing with my desktop for the past day or two and came across an application in Gnome-Look that seems to be pretty common place....application called Screenlets. Allows you to add all sort of things to your desktop, very much like SuperKaramba I guess.

Do we have any such thing in the repository for PCLOS?? I've looked, but found nothing. It seems to be a common package, at least on gnome-look, so not sure if I'm missing a trick??
