Galaxium Installation Problem

Postby Ctazzz » Sun Jun 14, 2009 4:13 pm

Good Afternoon,

PCLinuxOS 2009 user here, running Zen MiniMe clean install. All updates. All gnome games listed in repository. Everything running well. I search for a Gnome Messenger through synaptic using the suggested repository for Gnome, and only listing is Galaxium. I attempt to install, select ok for necessary additional installations/upgrades, and I receive a file conflict window:

The following packages have unresolvable dependencies. Make sure that all required repositories are added and enabled in the preferences.

"galaxium:
Depends: mono(webkit-sharp) (= 1.0.0.0)"

The repository:
ftp://ftp.belnet.be/pub/mirror/pclinuxonline.com/apt/

is the one I was recommended to use, after the original one I had listed was:

http://ftp.heanet.ie/pub/pclinuxos/apt/

My daughter is impatiently waiting for messenger  .

Thanks and have a great day,
Ctazzz

Ctazzz.

The libraries have been upgraded and sent upstream so you will have to give it a day or two.
Thanks for reporting this matter to us. :P

Thank you for your prompt response. I will try again in a couple of days. I have also some other issues (mandi and wireless from the livecd to installation to update tie-in that perhaps I should report. Would you rather I continue under this topic or start another?

Thanks and have a great day,

You could meanwhile try Kopete from the repo. It handles multiple account types like MSN, Yahoo, ICQ, etc etc.
Linux Registered user #483019 ..... Yeahh baby.

Deja Vu is a glitch in the kernel, it happens when they change something.. ( Morpheus: The Matrix )
