Totem won't play with a browser open

Postby sarcastic_bastard » Sun Oct 10, 2010 1:27 pm

It's the oddest thing, and doesn't seem to always be an issue, but regularly enough. Just did a full upgrade with the latest, and the issue still persists. Rather puzzled. If I have firefox or Seamonkey open, totem won't play vids, even if it was and is paused. If I close the browser, it will play straight way, but trying to resume play while a browser is open fails.

Does anyone else get this? Or is it just me? Full install of Gnome 2010.7, fully up to date. Had the same issue on my Zen install, and this is annoying, but annoying is all. Any suggestions?

Let's share our knowledge. Otherwise, what's the point?
