mklivecd causes segfault with kernel 2.6.27.31.tex5

Postby bit_flipper » Mon Oct 26, 2009 4:52 pm

Code: Select all
/sbin/start_udev Line 292   1255 segmentation fault /sbin/udevadm trigger  [FAILED]

Code: Select all
starting atd   [FAILED]

Media Check gives a PASS
LiveCD boots up to the desktop login screen, but I have a very dead mouse.

Options I am using:
Code: Select all
mklivecd --root=/ --tmp=/home --fstab=rw,noauto --ufs=unionfs --md5sum --nodir=^/home --nofile=^/var/cache/apt/archives/*.* /home/gorilla/remastered-pclos.iso

mklivecd worked perfectly using the above options with the previous kernel. The only option added to accomodate kernel 2.6.27.31.tex5 was:
Code: Select all
--ufs=unionfs

What is the fix for this?

LiveCD works fine in VirtualBox, but refuses to work on the actual hardware.
