When i Shutdown my laptop i get the following message,now you will have to bear with me on this as i had to take a photo of the screen then write it all down so there may be some left hand side of the screen text missing (can't find the log for shutdown )
And i might get told off again for not putting it in one of them 'Box's' that scroll so apology's to admin before i get another warning.

Are these worth bothering with ? as the laptop seems to work ok,so maybe leave it alone ??

No. The init scripts for those services are not LSB-compliant hence those warnings. You can safely ignore them unless you are a developer and would like to re-write those scripts as per the LSB specs...
