I think you would be ill advised to get rid of the message as its soul purpose is to let you know its doing something, if you "remove it"; what would you do when you ran into a problem?.
Apart from that; I for one don't know how to!.

Look at /sbin/spash.sh around line 223. There you can just remove it from the quotes.

I edit the file and got the same [ \n ] also ,,
So I simple edit the file again and inserted something cute....

GO CUT THE GRASS .

This could be a work around for , the time being..

Also as the system shut down it noticed the change..

Leave the quote marks but only remove the text. You will get nothing.
gprintf "Booting the system..." to -> gprintf ""
gprintf "Press Esc for verbose mode. to -> "gprintf ""
