My latest shot, playing around

Postby Dragynn » Thu Oct 28, 2010 9:58 pm

fiddling today and did this, don't think i'm done but it's fun so far, still liking the black-gray color schemes i'm seeing, maybe a splash of red though would be cool..or blue... :) Anyhow, thought I would share.

Thanks man! But you lost me somewhere, my own creation? The link you shared is awesome by the way, I have used that same theme and wallpaper and it's amazing!

Here is a different version I was working on last night: http://oi51.tinypic.com/6ehwzd.jpg

And here's a link to the monchromatic one if anybody likes it : http://oi52.tinypic.com/2h6g4mb.jpg

I mean this picture you have in your profile that is part of your posts.. agree with Slax:  :!: this: 6ehwzd.jpg is just awesome.. 8) yellow is my favorite color..
Changes in the OS it would be nice to have for me:
1. Include the Slickness Golden theme http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/ ... tent=73154, and if possible ubuntulooks engine (already in repository). Customize it with windows border: "Slickness golden.." and save it this way, then it is like I have it for nearly two years now.. 8)

Thanks y'all, glad somebody liked them, I do a lot of photography and play around with digital art a lot, so I change my desktop a lot too.

Here is a grunge based wallpaper I started working on last night for Zen, it's very basic and simple and i'm not done yet, but thought I would share, maybe somebody might like it as is, or maybe someone might like to use it as a starting point/raw material for making their own version. This is seriously minimal, I haven't even tried to apply any effects to the lettering yet.

Wow, i'd be honored to, thanks Slax! :D You mean the last one I posted with the "zen" text? That would look pretty good with the bull in a similar color-scheme. Let me know and i'll do one here shortly.

I really like the woodburned look on the roughcut boards. Looks very rustic and natural. Ditto for your other images... really awesome work!
