Remote Desktop

Postby shadowcatt » Sun Dec 12, 2010 6:44 pm

I cant for the life of my get remote desktop sharing to work.
Currently I have...Krfb/Krdc, Gadmin (both server and clients), Grdc, Remote Desktop Viewer, Tightvnc, Virtual Network connection and X11vnc server installed. Why can't I connect to any of my local network PC's?

Thanks in advance

I connect to mine using Tightvnc, works fine. I just need to know the IP of the box I want to remote into, make sure Remote desktop is of course set up on the other box, and away I go.

What issues are you having? What are you trying, and what is happening?

I usually install Vino and Vinagre to enable remote desktop viewing and setup, but the basic remote desktop seems to have issues, so I use Tightvnc instead to log into my other machines, and it's not a problem at all.
Remember this, the only stupid question is the one you don't ask.

Let's share our knowledge. Otherwise, what's the point?
