setting desktop to gnome stanard not kde standard.

Postby argon99 » Mon Aug 01, 2011 6:00 pm

Hi I am using PCLinuxOS Gnome edition. But the desktop is set for single click to start programs. I would like to have it double click. I have looked all over but I don't see where to set that. Would someone be kind enough to point me in the right direction. TIA

Open a file browser
Do Edit/Preferences/Behavior
Check the the option 'Double click to open items'

Thank you very much. I was looking for it in something that controlled the desktop. Foolish me.
