Hi, you have the dates, and none of the two is official. You are welcome to bring all feedback in the threads dedicated to each. (I let you seek for the related threads, I don't know exactly where they are).

Installed Zen 11-11-1 on my Asus Eee 1000H after trying Mint 12.

Gnome 3 seems to be too heavy on my Eee.

Zen looks nice, is fast and seems to be stable so far. :)

Hi Frits, no, this is a new version, a "full" version with extra programs and such, I believe you have Zen 11.11 rev. 1 which is the true mini. The new Zen 11.11.11 FMJ is 611 mb, as opposed to 11.11's 338 mb.

Okay, thanks for the information, but this means I should do a fresh install on my Asus Eee 1000H. For now I like the current version. I just installed it today. :D

Will download it and try it as Live USB to look for the differences.

Looked at it and I will stay with the "mini" :)

Do not need Conky, installed Libre Office and Mint menu. Completely happy now.

DRAGYNN My hat is off to you! [ :D Don't get big headed now.]

I downloaded the ZEN 11.11.11 FMJ.iso installed it and made no changes. :) Well just the monitor resolution but that is simply for self.[ OLD and 20/20 don't go together 100%].

Played with it and found that she a keeper!. Will simply add the apps that I need /want and then do the MYLIVECD thing!

Would give you a great pat on the back , but my arm is not long enough, and you already expressed the fact that you are not into that,
Group hug, smoochie goochie thing.

But here I can say this - YOU DID A FABULOUS {above average] job with the FMJ release.
This version should help the NEWBEEE's and those that want more , but don't want to have to fetch it and unwrap it and pinch it and flip it.

Just remember that in due time we will all have to accept the fact that GNOME 3 will prevail no matter what we want, do or say.
That said , you and all here have a Merry Christmas or what ever holiday applies. :D :D :D :D

Since the last post is from November 2011, is there an update on the actual versions?

I am looking for an actual complete Gnome version (32 bit) to put on my Akoya E1222 netbook.

Best regards,
Frits
