I've been slowly working at putting together a few things, sitting back and asking myself "What are the things I first found awkward, and how to explain as simply as possible, so people don't feel confused/intimidated", and I've got a few articles i'm working on, but not putting them out till I'm happy with it. That, and I have a chronically short attention span, and can't focus on one thing for too long, so I work on them as I can. We're getting a lot of interest over time (well, seems that way to me), some good articles, and people really like how the guys have managed to weld such an attractive Gnome interface to the power that is PCLOS/Mandriva, with it's great tools and usability. Looking at things from the new user perspective, and making things easy and simple to understand is essential if they are going to stay, and not be scared off if something goes wrong. And, as per usual, I think I'm going off on a tangent again. Told you I had a short attention span.
Anyway, I feel the current "obvious" place for these things isn't so obvious, and either moving the tutorials/help guides to a new section, or relabelling the old one, might be an idea. But that's just my thoughts on the matter. I just want this to work. slick50 and don_crissti have done a simply marvellous job so far, I keep trying out other distros on my spare drive out of boredom, but I keep finding myself booting back into this one. It just freaking rocks. Gorgeous, easy to use, good tools, and a friendly and helpful forum, without all the constant back-slapping that goes on at some other places. Keep doing what you're doing fellas, it's working great so far. Cheers.
